Hear the chorus of the angels
That sound around the world
Saviour is born into the world
He becomes son of man.

Lord Jesus Christ is born truly
Unto all human race
To save us from the satan’s pow’r
And from perdition way.

All the hosts of heaven appear’d
To view the coming light
Glory to God in the highest
And unto men be peace.

How ‘tis to know how difficult
His throne in heav’n to leave
To drink the cup of agony
For redemption of men.

Let us give praises to our Lord
For His great love to us
He sent th’only begotten son
Into this world of woe.

Thou son of God that’s born today
For the peace of the world
Abide with us Lord, with thy grace
And the Joy of thy birth.
