Once I was far away from the Lord,

I frustrated Him with my manners;

But now Jesus hath saved me.

Now indignation and anger,

Satan now bound me with its chain;

Jesus had now cut the chain.

Lusts of the world now filled my heart,

And all sorts of arrogancy;

Now all burnt by spirit’s fire.

Now I am free from depression,

ffFrom all sorts of lukewarmness;

Oh praise Jehovah with me.

I am singing just everyday,

In happiness I jump and dance;

It’s by the Spiritual pow’r.

Thy precious blood now cleanseth me,

The water of life in me flows;

My salvation now is full.

All ye my brothers and my friends,

Who dare this deliverance neglect?

To Him salvation is free.
