Hear from thy throne, the prince of peace,

Thy various gifts, send unto us;

Thy children who are seeking thee,

Fulfil their desires O Lord.

Come, Holy spirit from above,

With thy love fill the weary hearts;

The stony heart turn them to thee,

And let thy might be known O lord.

Speak, and the eyes of hardhearted

Shall weep and shout and cry aloud;

And with their Zealous spirit shall

Seek the goodness once cast away.

O let the holy multitude,

Waiting at the gate of Thy house,

Let every one of them prepare

To sacrifice themselves for Thee.
