Brother in Christ, for Jesus sake,

We accept thee with all our hearts;

That we may have eternal joy,

Which no one but Jesus would give.

And He who was call’d by Thy care,

Send Thy Holy Spirit to him;

And let our voices now be sweet,

And our hearts zealous with Thy love.

When the believers gather thus,

All the thoughts of the world forgot;

Now to talk of the Lord who came,

Who died for us to reign on us.

Let us talk of His words and works,

And His suffering, for us below;

The path which He prepared for us,

And what He’s now doing for us.

Now that the time is passing by,

We shall love and serve wondrously;

While expecting the glorious day,

When we shall meet and part no more.
