Jesus Christ make me hear Thy voice,

Speak Thou the word of peace;

And all my strength shall be employed

In praise of Thy goodness.

In Thy mercy, call me Thy child,

Forgive me all my sins;

And then, Thy voice will sound so sweet

Like heaven’s harmony.

Where ever Thou wants me to go,

I’ll gladly follow Thee;

And gladly will I fellowship

With those who are Thine own.

When this burden of sin is gone,

No other load remains;

The hand that scattered forgiveness

Shall wipe my tears away.
