I need not lack for inward love

Unto my Saviour who loves me

Thou hast laid down Thy life for me

That a sinner like me may live.

If I refuse, to love my Lord

Then I shall now ungrateful be

Will His death be in vain on me

Upon all my weaknesses, Lord.

Lord give Thy Inward love to me

That I may for ever love Thee

And when my days new end on earth

And enter into Thy glory.

Jesus Thou art a truly Friend

Thy mercies endure for ever

Unto those that perform Thy will

And in Thy perfect holiness.

Thou who destroyed the sting of death

And the work of Satan destroy'd

Let sin no more reign over me

For ever let me do Thy will.
