O for a faith that will not shrink

O for a faith that will .not shrink
Tho’ press’d by ev’ry foe
But in the hour of grief or pain
Will lean upon its God.

This is incomprehensible Yet wit!
I fear no foe
With God all things are possible
His wods shall never fail.

Lord, give us such a faith as this
That faith that never fails
A faith that keeps the, narrow way
Til life's last spark, is fled.
