Jesus the life, the truth the way

I put my trust on Thee

As Thou hast taught me let me pray

I’m hoping to receive.

Let me do Thy will here on earth

As it is done in heav’n

And those that sees Thee on Thy throne

They rejoice in Thy love.

Be Thou gracious unto me Lord

Let me fulfil Thy love

As the angels look unto Thee

Thy word, Lord to fulfil.

mfA very sinner like me Lord

Will serve Thee without fear

My soul win no more deceive Thee

In false adoration.

When Thou completed all my works

I’ll know within myself

I will no more sin unto Thee

For angels do not sin.

I will no more separate with Thee

I’ll betray Thee no more

I will love Thee whole heartedly

As the angels love Thee.

Henceforth I’ll do Thy holy will

A poor sinner like me

If I love Thee with all my heart

I’ll do Thy will O Lord.

Lord give me grace to mend my way

To live a holy life

And I will live to do Thy will

Like angels do in heav’n.
