Alleluia Song of Sweetness

Voice of joy that cannot dry

Alleluia is the anthem

Ever dear to choirs high

In the house of God abiding

Thus they sing eternally

Alleluia church victorious

Thou mayest lift the joyful strain

Alleluia songs of triumph

Well befit the ransomed train

Faint and feeble are out praises

While in exile we remain

Be our song while here below

Make us for a while forgo
