As the morning bells are ringing

Calling upon the passing souls,

Let everyone now ask himself:

Are we ready for death if call?

Now forsake all earthly wealth

And straight depart the judgement throne,

And the voice of the Judge to hear:

Who will make known my way to go?

Will I love it if He should say,

"Get thee away from me thou cursed,

Into everlasting furnace

Prepared for Satan and his hosts?"

O Lord my saviour now save me,

I put all my trust upon Thee;

Teach me to see perdition way,

Teach me to live ever with thee.
